What about all the information I'd get if an agent was there?
Instead of an agent, your phone becomes your tour guide. On your phone you'll get:
The electronic key to unlock the doors (via bluetooth)
A simple map to get you from the lobby to the apartment
While touring you'll get messages on your phone about:
- Requirements (credit & income)
- Move-in fee
- Cost to move in, etc.
And you can always call us before, during, or after your self-guided tour
Are self-guided tours a new thing? Who else is doing this?
It's been around several years and rapidly gaining in popularity.
Zillow uses it to self-tour houses for sale. Zumper uses it for apartments. There's hundreds of landlords in Chicago that now use it.
We consistently get positive feedback from our users. It works! It's easy.
Why do you ask for a CreditKarma screenshot?
We ask for this when you schedule a self-guided tour.
It's to get an idea if your score is 620 or higher (our minimum score). You can use other free credit services too (if you don't have a CreditKarma account):
The home page you upload shows NO personal information, except the score(s).

Is self-guided COVID friendly?
Yes. It's touchless and you'll be by yourself (unless you bring a friend). But, there's no rental agent and no crowds.
The apartment. is vacant and cleaned regulary.
Are showings with an agent available?
No. For studio apartments at 5412 W Ferdinand all showings are self-guided.
As an alternative, you can view the virtual tour (the video), or
apply for the apartment instead.
Remember, the pictures, video, and information we provide on this site is truthful. It is the actual apartment for rent! So, what you'd apply for, is what you'll get when you visit.
If your application is approved, we can arrange an agent led tour of the apartment. Keep in mind the $45 application fee is not refundable.
Can I call you?
Yes. We provide contact information after your self-tour is scheduled and you've downloaded the virtual key to your phone....or, if you submit an application.
Until you've scheduled or applied, everything is done online.
